About Pasquotank County High School
Welcome to Pasquotank County High School, home of the Mighty Panthers. Since opening in 2000, PCHS has proudly served students and families in Pasquotank County and the greater Elizabeth City community, known as the Harbor of Hospitality. Our school colors, navy blue, silver, and white, reflect the pride, strength, and tradition that define our Panther identity.
At PCHS, we are committed to creating a supportive and challenging learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally. Through high expectations, meaningful relationships, and strong community partnerships, we prepare students not only for success after graduation, but for life as engaged members of an ever-changing world.

Mission
Pasquotank County High School is a globally minded community. Our mission is to work collaboratively with all stakeholders (Students, Staff and the Community) to ensure panther success, (both academic and personal) in an ever changing globally competitive world.
Vision
Pasquotank County High School will prepare well rounded citizens who are prepared for success in a globally competitive society. We will complete this through demanding academic excellence in teachers and staff. Students will be taught and encouraged to become independent, critical thinkers who balance life-long learning with their own pursuits.
