International Baccalaureate Programme

Pasquotank County High School is proud to be part of the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools International Baccalaureate (IB) pathway. As the high school anchor of this pathway, PCHS is currently in the candidacy phase for both the Middle Years Programme (Grades 9/10) and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11/12).  We hope to become authorized for both programmes in 2026. 

The IB experience at PCHS will provide opportunities for students to challenge themselves academically, think critically, and develop the skills needed to succeed in a global society. As plans move forward, Pasquotank County High School and Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools are committed to expanding access to internationally recognized learning experiences that prepare students to lead, serve, and thrive.
