Teen Court Club

Teen Court Coordinator: Mr. Denscombe
Location: B03

Teen Court is an alternative system of justice for first time offenders of qualifying misdemeanors between the ages of 7 and 17 who attends school full time and must admit guilt. These students are sentenced by their peers and are held accountable for their actions. The student must complete their Teen Court mandated sentence to avoid having a criminal record. The student volunteers are trained under adult supervision to perform several duties during the Teen Court process. Teen Court educates students on learning important lessons about crime and consequences, taking responsibility for their behavior, and experiencing positive peer pressure.
